Thoughts on Cells at Work! Volume 3

I did want to share my thoughts on another yuri manga this weekend, but it has yet to be delivered at the time of writing. Nevertheless, I still have plenty of other manga to talk about, so this time around I’ll be sharing my thoughts on Akane Shimizu’s Cells at Work! once more.
There are a total of five chapters in this volume, running from chapter ten through to chapter fourteen. Continue reading

Top Five Saber Class Servants

Those familiar with the Fate franchise will know that there are several different classes of Servants in the franchise. My particular favourite happens to be the Saber class, and part of that is due to the various characters who are summoned as Saber class servants.
To celebrate the release of Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star, I figured I would share my top five Saber class Servants.
These particular Servants will hail from Fate/stay night, Fate/Zero, Fate/Apocrypha and Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star. My only experience with Fate/Grand Order was the First Order anime, so not really knowing the Servants from that particular game probably narrows down this list a fair bit. The game may have got an English release, but that was only in America as far as I know – it’s definitely not available through the Google Play Store on my phone.
On this list, each Saber will have their own unique identity. Some of the Saber class Servants do have variants, but they won’t be included on this list.
I’ll avoid spoilers as best I can, so don’t expect me to reveal the Servants’ true identities or Noble Phantasms directly here.

However, that isn’t the game I will be focusing on here, because let’s face it: everyone else will pretty much be talking about it. Consider it an honourable mention – or perhaps I’ll shine the spotlight on it next month, I don’t know yet.
Let’s actually focus on the game I want to talk about. It’s a title that was previously released on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and part of a franchise that was spawned from a visual novel.
I did even contemplate picking up the PS Vita version of this game at one point, but as you can see my plans changed when the Nintendo Switch version was announced. Continue reading
