Star ☆ Twinkle PreCure Episode 47: Wish to Walk Forward

We’ve more or less come to the end of our time with Star ☆ Twinkle PreCure, as we have only two episodes left – and I’ll be writing a review for the show after the last one. Things tend to get pretty spectacular during the final few episodes of any season of PreCure, so lets see if Star ☆ Twinkle continues that trend.

Winter 2020 Anime: First Impressions

A new decade brings along with it a new season of anime, so basically everything is still the same as normal. The winter 2020 season of anime seems particularly skewed towards musical anime, and that is fine with me. Well, the shows I’ve chosen to watch, at least.
As usual, here are my first impressions on each show I’ll be watching this season. Continue reading

Thoughts on Nurse Love Syndrome

Nurse Love SyndromeNurse Love Syndrome is a visual novel developed by Kogado Studio’s Shimarisu-san Team and published worldwide by Degica. It is part of the Nurse Love series of visual novels, but no prior knowledge is really needed to get into this. However, reading Nurse Love Addiction might result in appreciating Nurse Love Syndrome a little more.
I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the Nintendo Switch version of Nurse Love Syndrome, which was released worldwide on December 26th, 2019. It includes all the content of the Nurse Love Syndrome Re:Therapy game that was released in Japan. Continue reading

Autumn 2019 Anime Awards

The end of the season is upon us (or rather, was upon us a little while ago), so once again I shall be taking a look back at the stuff I enjoyed most from the anime I have watched over the past few months.
Ask me to sum up the autumn 2019 season of anime in one word, and I shall opt for ‘delays’. This season might have been subject to the most delays I’ve ever experience from a single season of anime, but most shows did manage to reach a conclusion in the end. In the spirit of delays, this post ended up being delayed as well.
Anyways, here’s the list of the shows I watched during the autumn 2019 season of anime:

  • After School Dice Club
  • Aikatsu on Parade!
  • Azur Lane
  • BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS
  • Chidori RSC
  • Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!
  • GRANBLUE FANTASY: The Animation Season 2
  • Kandagawa Jet Girls
  • My Hero Academia Season 4
  • Null & Peta
  • One Piece
  • Star ☆ Twinkle PreCure
  • Z/X: Code Reunion

There’ll potentially be spoilers for any of the shows listed above. Continue reading

Rory’s Reviews: Kandagawa Jet Girls

Kandagawa Jet GirlsKandagawa Jet Girls is a multimedia project which includes a PlayStation 4 game and an anime television series. The focus here is on the anime, which was brought to us by TNK. It ran for twelve episodes during the autumn 2019 season of anime, though its last episode was delayed until January 7th, 2020.
HIDIVE showed the series uncensored as it aired, although the uncensored episodes were only available for a limited time. Those wishing to watch Kandagawa Jet Girls will have to put up with the censored version on the streaming service, at least at the time of writing.

BanG Dream! 3rd Season Episode 1: Shoot For Your Dreams!

Poppin’ Party, Roselia, Afterglow, Pastel * Palettes, and Hello, Happy World! return for the third season of BanG Dream!. Let us not forget RAISE A SUILEN, either, who I suspect will be playing a much bigger role than they did in the second season. Continue reading
