The Executioner and Her Way of Life Episode 6: Slashing Through History

Lots of action in this episode of The Executioner and Her Way of Life. I’ve been very much looking forward to this one, so let’s see if it delivers on my expectations.

Menou fights

Menou has a duty to carry out

This episode completes the adaptation of the first volume of Mato Sato’s light novel series, finishing up the remaining part of chapter 4: At the Ancient Capital, and the epilogue. With the events of the chapter, I am very much looking forward to the reaction people have for this episode.

Akari

Interesting development from Akari here

Once again, the events in this episode are fairly faithful to how they go in the light novel. No big differences to really make note of here.

Momo

Momo rampages

Momo is so good in this episode. They kept skimming over things from the light novel concerning her up until this point, but here they gave her the chance to shine. They did establish one important fact: her ribbons are a precious gift – well, I guess it would be more correct to say “were” at this point.
So, yeah, this episode is pretty much just the girls being badasses. Absolutely love what I see here.

Ashuna

Ashuna decides to stop holding back

It’s definitely Momo who stands out most for me in this episode when it comes to action. Menou and Ashuna aren’t no slouches when it comes down to it, either. Some impressive stuff going on with this episode.

Menou and Akari

Menou connects with Akari

Great episode here, and it certainly did live up to my expectations. Really enjoyed the action scenes, and Akari gave us some great stuff, too.

With the adaptation of volume 1 now complete, we’ll delve into volume 2 with the next episode. Guess that means I need to hurry up and finish reading it. What I do know, though, is that it’s going to be something to look forward to.
