The Tropical Club participate in a preschool teacher trial in the fourteenth episode of Tropical-Rouge! PreCure.
In this episode, Manatsu, Sango, Minori, Asuka and Laura get to try their hands at being preschool teachers. Some are better at it than others, which should come as no surprise.
Naturally they also have to carry out their duty as Pretty Cure as well.
I don’t really have much to say about the preschool teacher trial thing from this episode. It does provide some amusing moments such as Minori’s deadpan story telling and Asuka play baby. Manatsu’s more of a preschooler than a teacher, too.
One of the most notable things to come from this episode is that Laura actually gets to participate in the activity this time around. Since it’s happening at a preschool, she just needs to throw on a long skirt. She still moves by jumping, but it seems nobody is questioning her on that. At least, not yet.
But it is nice to see Laura actually getting involved, particularly after her bouts of loneliness we’ve seen in previous episodes.
Would a preschooler know the word “entomologist”? Besides that question, I don’t really have much to say about the bug loving kids.
The Zenzen Yarane-da fight from this episode actually feels like one of the longer ones we’ve had so far. Being made from building blocks gives it an ability that makes it rather persistent.
Cure Papaya’s response to Cure Summer’s plan got a chuckle out of me. I hope we get to see even more of that kind of thing from her in the future. With a little encouragement, Pretty Cure are able to do their thing.
I wouldn’t say that this episode was the best that Tropical-Rouge! PreCure has had to offer, but it wasn’t bad, either. A decent episode, I guess.
Next time, Laura and Minori switch bodies. Now that sounds like a fun episode.
