It’s time for the second member of the team to make her debut in the third episode of Tropical-Rouge! PreCure. Cuteness is the main theme of this episode, and it has that in abundance.

Sango Suzumura is the star of this episode
In this episode, Manatsu and some friends just hang out for the day. Included in that group is Sango Suzumura, who just always goes along with everyone else. However, Manatsu soon inspires her to share her own form of cute. That results in Sango becoming the second member of the Tropical-Rouge! PreCure team

Sango is adorable
Sango is already a fantastic addition to the team. She’s definitely got that cute factor, and this episode makes it plainly clear that she is a very kindhearted soul. The only thing that is holding her back is her lack of confidence, but that’s where Manatsu comes in.

Manatsu, Sango and friends at the aquarium
The names of the three girls that accompany Manatsu and Sango in this episode are Yumi Kuwano, Kiriko Shiraishi & Naomi Komachi. I think. Just don’t ask me which one is which…
I guess it doesn’t really matter, because this episode is Sango’s time to shine.

Sango meets Laura
OK, I’m pretty curious about how Laura managed to get to the aquarium on her own. I’m not entirely sure there’s water leading to the pool she was floating about in. Guess I shouldn’t question it, since it we do get Laura and Sango meeting for the first time. Also, Laura’s smug face is fantastic.

This is a rubbish Yarane-da
Seems like we’re going to have to wait a bit longer for a new villain to introduce themselves, as once again Chongi-re is the one who is trying to claim Motivation Power. Of course, we need some kind of threat to spring up for Sango to respond to, so I guess it doesn’t particularly matter who it is.

Cure Coral
Cure Coral’s transformation sequence is so cute. Fitting, I suppose, considering that is her thing. I like Cure Coral’s design a lot, too. It’s got a sailor theme going on, and I do like that a lot. As for her combat abilities…

Coral’s X shield
So it appears that Cure Coral will have a more defensive style when it comes to fighting. That’s a pretty nice complement to Summer’s tendency to rush in. Coral’s special attack, Pretty Cure Fluffy Coral Diffusion, is pretty cool, too.
An excellent debut for Cure Coral. She’s a welcome addition to the team, and an adorable one at that.
Next time, the third team member!
Purple represent! Sango’s an excellent “cute” member. Nice way of conveying the message of not being afraid of sharing your own opinions even they make you stand out from others.
Looking forward to the third Ranger’s debut as we inch closer to debut of the #1 Hype Ranger.
