Healin’ Good ♡ PreCure Episode 26: Time Flies Like an Arrow

Episode twenty-six of Healin’ Good PreCure is all about Asumi discovering what happened before she made her first appearance, so she can write in her diary of Latte. Or Rate, whichever translation you prefer.

Hinata & Nyatoran stealthily approach

Hinata and Nyatoran sneak up on the others

In this episode, Asumi goes around asking her friends about when they first met and some of the things they did before Cure Earth was born. Ultimately, this is just a recap episode, though Nodoka and company do have a surprise in store for Asumi.

Asumi, Latte and Nodoka

Nodoka shows Asumi her homework

There is not a whole lot to talk about with this episode. Any magical girl action we get is solely from flashbacks; the Byo-gens seem to be giving them a break for this week.

Mei & Asumi

Still think it would be kind of neat if Asumi x Mei turned out to be a thing.

There’s a lot of flashbacks to previous episodes here, but I suppose we do get a little bit of new content, as well. That mostly consists of Asumi wandering around and talking to the girls and the Healing Animals. They’re all busy with something, and Asumi starts to feel lonely.

You can probably guess how that all ends up, since it is something you’ll see fairly often in anime – and probably other media, too.

Hinata & Asumi

Asumi catches Hinata off guard

I’m hoping we’ll properly be back on track for the next episode. This one is a recap episode, though I suppose it does give us something nice at the end.

Nodoka, Hinata, Asumi, Rabirin & Chiyu

The girls wearing yukata

Huh, apparently both “yukata” and “yukatas” are acceptable plurals.
Anyways, this was certainly an episode of Healin’ Good ♡ PreCure, and that’s about all I can say about it.

Seems like things will get back on track next week, as it appears that Asumi might be getting a little competitive.
