As July draws closer, so too does a new season of anime. As usual, I shall be taking a look at what is coming up in the next season and sharing with you the shows that I have chosen to watch.

I don’t know too much about Granbelm, but I certainly like what I see in the PV. A cast full of female characters and mechas has grabbed my attention.

It’s an idol show, about girls in middle school. A simple premise, but sometimes that is all you really need.

Symphogear XV
The fifth season of Symphogear, which I just might be a little excited for. After all, ask me my favourite anime and Symphogear is my answer. Very much looking forward to seeing Hibiki and the others back in action again.
Symphogear XV begins on July 6th.
Street Corner Demon
Also known as Machikado Makozu, this anime is about a devil girl and a magical girl. That’s already sold me on the concept, so naturally I am looking forward to this one.

Wasteful Days of High School Girl
Wasteful Days of High School Girl is about the everyday lives of three high school girls. I’m always up for some slice of life comedy stuff.
Wasteful Days of High School Girl begins on July 5th.
That is seven new shows that I plan to watch during the summer season of anime. I might add (or even take away) other shows as the summer season gets into full swing. For now, though these are the shows I definitely want to watch.

During the summer, my coverage of Aikatsu Friends! Shining Jewel and Star ☆ Twinkle PreCure shall continue. I’ll definitely be covering Symphogear XV, and very likely will do the same for Granbelm and Street Corner Demon.
Solely due to Symphogear XV, I have very much been looking forward to this summer season of anime. It looks like there are some other great shows accompanying it this season, as well, so should be a good one.
