I’ve returned from Comic Con, and as is usually the case I bought some stuff. I’ll be sharing my haul here. I don’t really have anything else to add to pad out this introduction, so I guess I should probably just jump right in.

Always have to pick up some Pocky
First up, I paid a visit to TokyoToys where I picked up a Pocky Addict Pack. I now have a whole bunch of Pocky to snack on whilst watching anime. The pack includes the standard chocolate flavour, as well as cookies & cream, choco banana and green tea.
There’s also a knock-off Zelda key ring as well. It appears to be the Zora’s Mask from Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask, yet the packaging uses Twilight Princess artwork and The Minish Cap logo…
Well, whatever, its the Pocky I’m interested in.

Dragon Ball Z Season Eight, Kiniro Mosaic Season 1 and One Piece Collection 10
I picked up some anime. Kiniro Mosaic is a blu-ray and DVD combo pack, and marks the first time I’ve ever bought anime on blu-ray. I do intend on investing in a blu-ray player in the near future, so I can enjoy my anime in the best quality possible.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Volume 6, Magical Girl Site Volume 6, Kisses, Sighs, and Cherry Blossom Pink, Monster Tamer Girls Volume 1 and Unmagical Girl Volumes 1 and 2
I also picked up a few volumes of manga. I’ve already read through Magical Girl Site and I don’t think anyone is prepared for what will happen in the anime, assuming it continues to be a faithful adaptation.
Kisses, Sighs and Cherry Blossom Pink is a yuri anthology by Milk Morinaga, so that’s a very good addition to my collection of yuri manga.
Monster Tamer Girls and Unmagical Girl are pretty much unknowns to me. Monster Tamer Girls is exactly what is says: a story about girls who tame monsters. As you can see from the cover, we’re talking fairly big monsters as well.
As for Unmagical Girl, it’s about a magical girl from an old magical girl anime being pulled into the real world and having to deal with everyday life. I like magical girls and I enjoy slice of life, so this certainly seems like something that I would like.

Kasumi Toyama Nendoroid
Finally, we have my favourite purchase of the day. The second Nendoroid I have ever bought, and it is Kasumi Toyama from BanG Dream!. Girls Band Party has renewed my love for Kasumi, and I was very happy to stumble upon this.
Here’s a few shots of her in different poses with different expressions.
I had fun at Comic Con, and I really like everything I bought. With some new manga added to my collection, I’m going to return to writing my thoughts on manga posts. I’ve got a good number of manga I need to get through, and my collection is only going to get bigger.
