Looking Forward to MCM Comic Con London

mcm-london-comic-conIt is that time of the year once again; I will be venturing into London for MCM Comic Con London. As usual, there is plenty going on.Well, let’s start with what video games will be available to play there. Nintendo has quite a selection available hosted at their stand, including Mario Tennis Aces, Splatoon 2, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS, Pokkén Tournament DX, Kirby Star Allies, Rocket League, EA SPORTS FIFA 18 and more.
They’ll also have Detective Pikachu and Mario Kart 7 on 3DS.
Tournaments are being held for Splatoon 2, ARMS, Pokkén Tournament DX and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, too.

It’s not just Nintendo bringing the video games, either. Idea Factory will be letting people play Megadimension Neptunia VIIR, whilst Bandai Namco are bringing Dragon Ball Legends, Sword Art Online Integral Factor and Digimon Links.
PQube have a decent number of titles playable as well. BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, Cat Quest, Gal*Gun 2, Muddledash, Razed, Stay, PlataGO, Shantae Half-Genie Hero and Nippon Marathon are the titles PQube are bringing with them.

As well as video games, there will be plenty for anime fans as well. Anime Limited will be hosting the anime guest of honour, Shouji Gatou. Shouji Gatou is the creator of Full Metal Panic, so that could prove to be quite interesting.
Of course, Anime Limited will be selling anime as well. Manga Entertainment and MVM will be doing the same, which means that I will be expanding my collection of anime.
Announcements are usually made about upcoming releases as well.

Talking of buying things, I’ll be stocking up on manga as well, and whatever anime merchandise catches my eye. I’m still hoping to see Symphogear stuff, though I’m not holding my breath.
Yet PreCure figures turn up regularly… hmm, enough time might have passed for Maho Girls PreCure figures to show up.

It’s not all about video games and anime, though. Stars of TV shows and films will also be there, holding panels and signing autographs. A few examples include Letitia Wright (Shuri in Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead in Deadpool) and Stefan Kapicic (Colossus in Deadpool).
There are a whole lot more in attendance, but those examples are the most notable ones to me.

Also, something that seems like it could be quite amusing is the Twisted Toonz panel. David Hayter, Jennifer Hale, Jim Cummings, Jess Harnell and April Stewart – voice acting superstars – will be giving con-goers an alternate take on Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Plenty of cosplayers will be attending the event, and that includes myself. I’ll be cosplaying as Kaban from Kemono Friends once more. I’ve been thinking about adding a couple of little touches to my current cosplay outfit, but there are only a few days before Comic Con so I may not get the chance.

There is much more going on at Comic Con than I have highlighted here; the website has more details about everything.

So, plenty to look forward to. As is usually the case, I’ll create a post after the event to share everything that I acquired.
