A Look at the Fire Emblem Chrom and Tiki amiibo

Fire Emblem Warriors was released on 20th October, and I even featured it as my game of the month for October. Also released on that date were the Chrom and Tiki amiibo. I held off on getting them at the time due to Comic Con, but with that over and done with, I figured why not treat myself?
Though amiibo tend to sell out rather quickly, the Nintendo UK store had stock (and still do, at the time of writing) so I ordered from there – which means I picked up both amiibo for £10.99 each, not the inflated prices you’d see elsewhere (looking at you, GAME).
As is usually the case for these things, the images I’ll be posting will be photo taken with my phone.Might as well start by looking at both amiibo still in their packaging – especially as I intend to open both of them.

The Chrom and Tiki amiibo in their packaging

Chrom’s official Fire Emblem: Awakening art is used on the packaging.

The art for this packaging is the official Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon Tiki artwork.

That’s both amiibo in their packaging, so now it is only fitting to liberate them and take a look up close.

That’s both amiibo, but what functionality do they offer? Well, in Fire Emblem Warriors, they unlock unique weapons for Chrom and Tiki. The Chrom amiibo provides Chrom’s Practice Sword, whilst the Tiki amiibo provides Tiki’s Tear.

Finally, here’s a shot of all the Fire Emblem amiibo I currently own:

From left to right: Celica, Alm, Tiki, Chrom, Marth, Lucina and Robin.

One of my coworkers has some of these Amiibos on his work desk. The urge to pinch them is strong haha.
