Anime Adaptation of Hajime Segawa’s Tokyo ESP Manga to Premiere in 2014

Described as an “afterschool psychic action” series, Tokyo ESP seems like an anime that I will be interested in. Of course, this is thanks to information from Anime News Network.

Hajime Segawa is the creator of Ga-Rei, and of course Tokyo ESP.

Tokyo ESP follows the story of a poor high school girl named Rinka. She chases a “flying penguin” to the top of New Tokyo Tower, only to have a “fish swimming in the air” suddenly go through her. Rinka somehow manages to receive powers from the fish (anime, huh?).
So, yeah, I’ll be keeping an eye out for any more information on this and sticking on my blog here when it surfaces.

2014 is certainly shaping to be an interesting year for anime, what with Saki: Zenkoku-hen and Sakura Trick airing next season.
Then there is Riddle Story of Devil, Wizard Barristers, Gatchaman Crowds Second and Tokyo ESP due to air in 2014.
