Truth be told, I don’t know much about this one. I just happened to stumble upon this piece of news on the Anime News Network website, and it interested me. Anyway, Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka? (Is the Order a Rabbit?) is a 4-panel manga about girls meeting in a café called Rabbit House.
The first thing of note is that the characters’ names are all based off of hot beverages. The main character is Kokoa (hot cocoa). She meets a whole host of characters at the Rabbit House café; a tiny and cool girl named Chino (cappucino); a tough and soldier-esque girl named Lize (Thé des Alizés tea); a spacey and Japanese-styled girl named Chiyo (Uji matcha tea, obviously…); and Sharo (Kilimanjaro coffee).
Hiroyuki Hashimoto (Angel Beats!, The Devil is a Part-Timer! episode director) will be directing the anime at studio White Fox (Steins;Gate, The Devil is a Part-Timer!).
Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Hetalia The Beautiful World, Miss Monochrome, Walkure Romanze) is in charge of the series scripts.
The characters are being designed by Yousuke Okuda (Sword Art Online, Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home animation director).
That’s all the information available for the time being, but I shall be keeping an eye out for any more.
